Everything I Wore Last Week
Impostor syndrome, dupes for *those* gingham trousers and the best spa day in London...
Struggling with what to wear? Each week, I share my daily outfits to give you fresh ideas, easy outfit formulas, and inspiration to make the most of your wardrobe. Paid subscribers get full access to all my looks, posted every Sunday evening (or in this instance, Tuesday - sorry it’s late!).
MONDAY

Here’s a hot tip for you - next time Father’s Day rolls around, gift your partner a spa day for two. Everyone’s a winner. To get a good deal, you usually have to sub it for a weekday off, but it’s well worth it in my eyes. For Mark’s (our) Father’s Day treat, we were graced with beautiful weather, which meant we didn’t really make full use of the facilities and instead just plonked ourselves down by the outdoor pool for the entirety of the day. Heaven. I cosplayed ‘fancy lady of leisure spends the day at the spa’ and wore head-to-toe creamy white tones. A fine-knit and linen wide-leg trousers always feels super luxe to me. Oh, and South Lodge is THE SPA to head to in Sussex IMO.

TUESDAY
Whenever I have a skincare job to shoot, I roll up in my white shirt with a white pair of trousers (linen in the summer, jeans in the winter). It all just feels clean, usually adheres to the dos and don’ts of the brief, and from a practical standpoint, it doesn’t upset the white balance on my camera, which is beneficial for capturing skin, especially when you’re barefaced. So I spent the majority of the day in the above, just with a smattering of my usual jewellery to keep it simple. It was a pretty heavy shoot day, actually, as I shot some photos in the afternoon for an upcoming NAP post (keep your eyes peeled tomorrow!). So I was in and out of clothes all day, but I did have fun styling this dress*, which I’m now desperate to keep.

Behind the paywall this week:
The outfit base I reach for when I need to grab and go.
A *very* good non-basic black top for the summer.
A dream Sunday featuring THE BEST spa in London.
