Struggling with what to wear? Each week, I share my daily outfits to give you fresh ideas, easy outfit formulas, and inspiration to make the most of your wardrobe. Paid subscribers get full access to all my looks, posted every Sunday evening.

There’s a double-whammy this week, simply because last week was so chocker with posts, I didn’t want to overwhelm your inboxes, so we’re rolling two weeks into one. I’d attempted to stick with the themes I’d set out for myself for SHOP YOUR WARDROBE month, but after actually shopping my wardrobe, I felt deep in my bones what I wanted to wear, so I broke out of my self-imposed box. Screw the themes, my wardrobe is working like a finely tuned engine (you’d hope so after five styling sessions with the best in the biz!), so I just let it do its thing. Let’s fast-forward through a few outfits I wore and loved…

Jumper* / coat* / cords* (U.S link*) / shoes* / I find these cords a little tricky in terms of colour, but a deep-heathered grey is their perfect pairing for me. Also props to this longline jacket, which makes everything and anything feel fancy.
T-shirt* / jumper* / jeans* / old Massimo Dutti coat / scarf* / boots* / What I wore for pick-up/drop-off. These boots are changing my life, I swear. I’ll do a whole post about them soon, but as they are so chunky, I find they pair well with darker denim styles.
Scarf* / jumper* / old Massimo Dutti coat again / jeans* / boots* / See? I told you! A muddy trip to the park, and thanks to the UNIQLO Compact Jacket* slipped between the coat and jumper, I was toasty.
Turtleneck* / jeans* / jacket* / boots* / And again! I had drop-off so wore a big black wool coat over the top and then took it off for coffee with a friend after. After almost getting rid of this jacket 2789 times, I can’t believe how much I’ve worn it recently. I think of it as a cardi/working-from-home fancy dressing gown to get the most out of it.
Coat* / jumper* (ad - gifted) / vintage jeans / loafers* / bag* / What I wore out for a roast last weekend. This coat is one of the longest-standing pieces in my wardrobe (and one of my first ever Vestiaire buys!), but I just NEVER wear it, so I took Reva’s advice and stripped it back to basics.
Bag* / I’m forever amazed by how much I can fit in here, and despite being more ‘summery’, I find I wear it most in the colder months to add contrast.

MONDAY

Jumper* / jacket* / leggings* / trainers* / turtleneck* / vintage jeans / loafers*

Say hello to two pretty grim photos of yours truly: the left pre-gym and the right I snapped at 10:30 pm just before I rolled into bed. But here’s a real outfit in motion, people!!! I knew I wanted to go to the gym before I went to the cinema with a friend, and I also knew that I was desperate to wear this pony-hair jacket, so there was only one thing for it - to rock up to the gym in possibly the loudest coat that I owned. No one cared. I felt great. My jacket got the trip out it so desperately deserves, and it turns out that The Housemaid was a thriller/comedy?! People were outwardly screaming/laughing, and although it wasn’t exactly a 10/10 film, it was a 10/10 cinema experience.

TUESDAY

Ring* / jumper* / vintage Levi’s (similar*) / flats*

You might have noticed that my January no-buy was pretty unsuccessful. In fact, DHL and UPS might as well have set up permanent residences outside our house. My attempt was abysmal, to say the least. The only saving grace was that I stuck to the Reva rule of trying each piece on with three completely different outfits, and I actually returned a lot, too. Whereas I’ve previously held onto items that I wasn’t 100% on, or felt a little tight or loose because I quite frankly, couldn’t be arsed to return them. I have been very strict with myself; if there was even a hint of doubt, then it went back. One item that made the cut was this MOTHER Jersey Jumper*, which Reva suggested could be a gap in my wardrobe, and it turns out, it’s the perfect companion for my tricky-to-style, vintage mushroom-y coloured Levi’s.
