MONDAY

Earrings* / jumper* / jeans (similar*) / loafers (similar*) / bag* (ad - gifted)

Hitting the ground running… with an outfit that I didn’t really like!! I think I was still suffering from my two-week bad outfit hangover (read all about that here), and the weather was throwing me. We visited our friends who put on a stunning Easter spread and an egg hunt in the garden for the littles. SO CUTE! And actually, the outfit was fine. Perfect for finding eggs that the kids couldn’t even reach! Look at me go!!! It just felt like it was missing something: a chunkier piece of jewellery, a contrasting bag, or a slimmer fitting piece? It was lacking. It did, however, start an unintentional grey jumper theme that I continued for most of the week…

Grateful for the elastic in these jeans…

TUESDAY

Earrings* (ad - gifted) / T-shirt* / trousers* / flats* (similar*)

Two factors very much dictated Tuesday’s outfit. One, I was layered up in fake tan so had to wear something dark that didn’t cling to my body (I’ve graduated to a once-a-week-ish coat of the St Tropez Express Mousse* with a one use of the Tan-Luxe The Gradual* mid-week for upkeep). I also wanted to spend the majority of the day writing on my walking pad, so an item like jeans was off the menu. This set from DONNI is ultimately a version of elevated pyjamas. But the colour blocking levels it up, and with my usual gold earrings and a sleek flat for when I wasn’t stomping away, it served its purpose as a solid working-from-home choice.

April has given us some *cracking* sunsets.

Behind the paywall this week:

  • To be honest? All the good outfits. This week had a slow start, so the formulas you’re probably most inclined to recreate are from Wednesday onwards. It gets better - PROMISE!

  • The best dupe I’ve found for my favourite ARKET cashmere jumper - you know the one. The two look exactly the same.

  • …and an easy-to-recreate ‘weekend with the kids’ outfit for spring that I really enjoyed wearing.
