MONDAY

Necklace* / shirt* / shorts* / bag* (ad - gifted) / shoes*

I vlogged my day on Monday, so if you want to see what I got up to, then check out the video that went live today. But, the long and short of it, it was a day working from home, with an appointment to see my Naturopath in the afternoon and a dinner-time video call. From my recollection, it was a pretty hot day, and I was feeling stumped, so I rewound to the ‘30 Days of Summer Outfits' series that I did on my Instagram page last summer, dug around for an outfit to wear and stumbled across this black linen shirt + mid-wash blue denim shorts combo. I switched the plain loafers I wore last year to my leopard print pair (which I’ve weaved into every single outfit this week) and the bag to something a bit chiller and bigger, but overall, it was one of those moments where daily outfit documentation came in real handy. You don’t need to share your snaps online, but having some kind of back catalogue can really help you to remember what outfits felt like gems worthy of a rewear.

Very into this makeup routine right now: tinted moisturiser* / concealer* / bronzer* / blush* / brow gel* / mascara* / gloss*

TUESDAY

T-shirt* / bag* / skirt (similar*) / shoes*

Tuesday was a bit of a non-starter of a day. I was in and out running errands and just never really felt like I really got down to it, you know? One thing I did do, though, was prep Friday’s Weekly Wishlist post, where I put this outfit together inspired by one of last week’s screengrabs. As usually happens whenever I do this, I find an outfit that I’m like ‘YUP, that’s it!’ and wear it for the rest of the day, and this was the winner from that round of recreations. There’s just a lot of ease built into this, and it was humid on Tuesday, so it was exactly what I needed. In the afternoon, the cloud burned off, and I sat in the garden in the t-shirt, with my massive pants on* and typed away, which was really nice (I’m on a mission to get my psoriasis a decent vitamin D hit!), until it got cold and rained. Got to love a U.K summer!!!
