Seeing as this post is a little late (huge apologies!), I’ve extended my flash summer sale till EOD today, so you can still get 10% off your annual or monthly subscription if you act now. Paid subs get full access to my Wardrobe Diaries each week; seven days of outfit ideas to help arm you with formulas for the week ahead.

MONDAY

Earrings* / T-shirt (similar*) / jumper* / leggings* / flats* (similar*) / bag (in black*)

Excuse the crumbled tee - I forgot to take a photo in the moment and had to fish this one out of the washing basket to snap a pic for you. Glamourous. I had a day on Monday where I was trying to squeeze everything in - appointments, Zooms and a workout class, so my outfit was built around leggings, which I tend to reserve only for when I’m actually active, just around the house or feeling like a turd. I find the best way to elevate them is to add a layer or two (like a jumper around the waist), opt for a ‘normal’ T-shirt (over a sporty one), then pair your look with a fancier pair of shoes and a non-canvas tote to dress it up. Jewellery helps too, and I layered it up here - earrings + bangle + anklets.

The Gel Bottle Polish in Silk is exactly what I was looking for.

TUESDAY

T-shirt* / jumper (similar*) / shorts* (dupe*) / bag* / flats* (similar*)

The warm weather really started to kick in on Tuesday, so the LESET shorts* came out, and to be honest, they hung around for the rest of the week. Looking for a dupe? I’d say these* and these* come pretty close. They are a nice option if you like the look of the boxer short trend, but you just feel like you’re wearing men’s pants, which I personally do. The silky texture adds some polish and makes an outfit feel a little more balanced if you’re just wearing them with a simple T-shirt on top. This outfit is almost a direct repeat of one I wore last year in New York that I’ve been desperate to recreate once the weather allowed.

VERY excited to be back in NYC again this autumn.

Behind the paywall this week:

  • A little linen dress that’s a good, ‘colour, without feeling like you’re wearing colour’ pick.

  • Recipes! Watermelon and feta salad, and a mango salsa that I can now whip up by memory. Plus, the workout top that I’ve worn to every class since I got it.

  • My favourite outfit of the week that feels like it captures my summer vibe perfectly.

Like I mentioned earlier, I’ve extended my flash summer sale till EOD today, so now is your last time to snag a subscription (monthly or annual) for 10% off!
