Just a note that the Style Clinic will be back up and running again this month! I’ll be going live for paid subscribers on Substack this Wednesday 8th October at 12pm (U.K time). If you can join, GREAT, see you there! If not, no worries, it will be recorded and posted, complete with show notes and links, the following day.

Got a burning style question? Leave it in the chat and I’ll try my best to answer as many as I can!

The title of this post is ultimately the push-pull I feel each morning when I’m getting ready. I’m forever trying to strike a balance between that Skandi-cool, city-based, polished feel that underpins my style, whilst moulding that around drop-offs, miniature railway visits and umpteen supermarket trips to restock on berries (parents single-handedly keep the berry business running, I swear). It’s not exactly a natural match; it takes some work. It’s something that I’ve got much better at in recent months, and after dissecting my frequent pitfalls earlier this year, I was determined to make last week’s trip away with my parents, husband, and little one a little more, well, chic. And I think I kinda nailed it.

Read on for my chill holiday packing list, a new packing theory and how I wore it all. If you’re trying to marry feeling *good* and feeling comfy - this one’s for you…
