I usually do these round-ups when I can look back at a whole year of purchases, but like, that can be a lot for one post!!! So I thought for this year, I’ll break it down into two parts: one delivered now and the final entry in December. A slightly speedier version where I rate every single thing I’ve purchased so far in 2026.
You’ll see, it’s a lot. So I’m glad I’ve written it out, as it always helps hammer home my shopping goals and gives me direction on how to tweak them going forward. There are some high-scoring pieces here: my favourite grey jumper* (you know the one!), pull-on pants I never want to take off*, great tanks*, and the best black tee I’ve ever bought*. But there are a few buys peppered here and there that perhaps weren’t my most thought-out, and it shows.
To simplify it, here’s my rating system:
👖👖 👖 - Three pairs of jeans mean it’s been an AMAZING purchase, one of the best of 2026 so far.
👖👖 - Two pairs of jeans means that it’s so-so. Not my best, nor my worst. More time is needed.
👖 - One pair of jeans means it was a bad buy and something that hasn’t worked out for me like I thought it would.
