The Black Friday Deals That Are Actually Worth It
What's on sale that I own, use and love...
I’ve done Black Friday round-ups on my blog since the beginning of time, and I was toying with how best to deliver it this year. I decided the best way was to write a list of things that I own and love so readers of this newsletter could perhaps get themselves a deal on something they’ve been eyeing up already. So this full sales breakdown is exactly that. Almost every single thing has my personal seal of approval, which means I can talk about fit and show how I’ve styled things in my wardrobe so far. It’s comprehensive, that’s for sure!!
It’s in alphabetical order, so your favourites should be easy to find. Plus, a little note that although I’ve worked with Mejuri, Missoma and Merit to promote their Black Friday deals on other platforms, this isn’t part of the work - just things I’d genuinely recommend! The discount sadly doesn’t stretch to Glossier goods, or else you know the tote would be on here - but it is across all makeup, skincare, body care and perfume. Here are my Glossier faves that I buy on repeat:
Stretch Balm Concealer* - I use the shade Light 2 every darn day.
Lip Line* - I use the shade Graze with a little lip balm on top.
Futuredew* - I use this as the primer on my high points whenever I’m dry.

I don’t use many hair tools, but when I can’t be bothered to air-dry my hair, I reach for the GHD Thin Wand*. It looks like it would give you extremely tight curls, and it can, but I take big chunks around the barrel for 5 seconds at a time, and it gives a loose wave that lasts in my hair for a good two days.
H&M* - 20% off

Use the code ‘WHITE20’ to get 20% off sitewide. Here’s where I stock up on Christmas decorations; their tree ones* aren’t cheap, but I’ve had some of mine for over 10 years now. I’ve also got their Pre-Lit Winter Garlands* dotted all over the house, and they make it feel SO festive (I use a mix of the 180cm* and 250cm* ones). We’ve just treated ourselves to a new bed, so I’ll be grabbing some of their bedding*, too.
UNIQLO* - Flash Sales
Some of their most popular styles are reduced for a limited time, but the one that I was most excited by were the Men’s Cashmere Jumpers* that are all in the sale. You know I love these. I recommend getting them in your normal size for a slightly oversized fit (I wear a M).
WHISTLES* - 20% off
There’s 20% off everything at Whistles, and you know what I’m going to recommend here… their coats and jackets. Their leather jackets, in particular, are some of my favourites. If you want something out there, try the Snakeprint Leather Coat* (I wear a 12), or for something more classic, you can’t go wrong with their Clean Bonded Leather Jacket* (I’d recommend the black or the brown and size down to a S in the regular length).
