The Only Holiday Packing List You Need
Short-haul and long-haul options for you to reference each time you travel...
Look, if there is one thing that I’m really good at doing aside from eating pistachio cream directly from the jar, it’s being organised, which means that packing for trips is one of my favourite tasks of all time (the same sadly can’t be said for unpacking). So much so that a few years ago, I created the following packing lists, which have been tried and tested many times. Let me tell you, sticking to these will ensure you won’t leave anything you need behind. Guaranteed.
I’ve sorted you both a list for short-haul, hand-luggage only trips - think overnight to four days, and a slightly more comprehensive list for long-haul travel where you’re more likely to check a bag, think five days plus. And remember, it’s just a guide, especially when it comes to the wardrobe side of things. I just like to ensure that each category is ticked off, rather than packing a certain number of each item. However, I’ve added a suggestion for you in case you find it helpful.
If you’re old school and PDF is your preferred choice, then you’ll find both the short-haul and long-haul versions of my packing list here…
If you’d rather save them in photo format to your device, then here you go…
…and here’s the long-haul version for you.
I hope you find them as helpful as I have over the years. I never pack without my lists, even for overnight stays. I like to make sure I’ve ticked everything off, you know? We’re away this week so content is a little light on the ground, but I’ll be back next week with a holiday wardrobe diary (I’m BUZZING for this one) and plenty of ‘how to be chic and not end up a complete sweaty mess’ summer-related content. Look I’m a sweaty girl - and I have thoughts!! See you on the other side and until then, safe travels!

Style Ideas for Those In-Between Moments
If I asked my IRL friends if they knew about DONNI, they would probably think I was referencing my boss from my teenage Saturday job, who got fired for cooking the books. RETAIL DRAMA! But I’m talking about DONNI*, the women-owned, LA-made basics brand that is very much a Substack darling, yet remains somewhat under the radar, at least in the U.K. Founded by

Given the title of this publication, you might be under the illusion that fashion was my first love, when in fact, it was beauty. It was my Mum’s makeup bag that I’d riffle through, not her wardrobe, Spectacular nail polishes would populate my birthday list, and I’d read the

The title grabbed my attention straight away as going away Friday. I also always use lists but despite my best intentions,of writing a master list I can use year on year, they tend to be hastily made ' stream of conscious ' lists! Thank you.
