The Style Edit: 14 Pieces That Really Put In The Work
A speed round that delivers PERSONALITY.
Greetings from New York!!! I’ve been here since Monday, taking meetings, getting lost on the subway, and no doubt succeeding in making my luggage EXTREMELY HEAVY for the return flight today (it’s essentially just a bag that’s crammed full of Sophie Pavitt* at this point). I had grand plans to put my review post live this week for paid subs featuring every single item I was gifted or purchased last year, but my energy levels dictated otherwise (next week I promise!). So instead, I’m just doing a quick check-in and sharing the pieces I’ve collected over the past seven days that I’m dying to share. Normal service will resume on Monday!
And this week everything feels FUNKY. I feel drawn to the 10% of our wardrobes that add that zhuzh that Kelly so eloquently delved into. The personality pieces, if you will. You know the ones. Jeans + tee + one of the below…
See? I told you I was in a funky mood this week. Check out this little bucket bag*! I picture this being the kind of thing you lob in your suitcase for a holiday and end up using all week long, whether you’re popping to the local town or out in the evening with a linen mini dress.

I feel the urge to put Chan Luu* on your radar. It’s one of those brands that just SCREAMS summer. Like the above look? I’m into it. I love the idea of funky trousers that you can just sling on with any old T-shirt and a pair of flip-flops. These are the Techno Dupion Straight Leg Pants*. Check them out on the site to see how they tie in the back.

Ok, this feels off piste, but I’m a sucker for a slinky little mini dress. And the colours of this*? GORGE. I wonder if it would work with a pair of wide-leg black trousers as more of a tunic top? There you go, options.

I’m basically obsessed with anything from the ‘pistachio’ colourway from the latest DONNI drop (remember code ANNA10 gets you 10% off). My top picks would be:

Stripes are BACK (Lindsay said so!), but instead of a tee, why not try a cashmere cardi*? After all, knitwear, jeans and sandal season is almost upon us, and I personally love a cardigan worn alone with a layering tee underneath.
…and finally, this is the bag* that I’ve tottered around NYC with all week, and it has been a compliment MAGNET. Let me tell you. It fits a laptop in (just - I must say, you can’t do up the magnet closure with a laptop in it), has been roomy enough for a day’s worth of essentials and isn’t heavy when unpacked. I mean, you always knew this post would skew animal-print-heavy, right?
Thanks for being part of The Wardrobe Edit. If you like what you read, I’d truly appreciate it if you liked, shared, or left a comment - it makes all the difference.

LOVE that little striped cardigan of course, but that zebra pouch is fighting the Arket bag for my heart. Wow are they both amazing!
Hi Anna, just wanted to let you know that Sofie Pavitt is spelled with an F not a PH. Loved the post!
