The Style Edit: A Row Bag Dupe, The Sweatpants I'm Buying & What I've Returned
Plus, my spring beauty suggestions.
This week’s Style Edit feels a little condensed as I’m off on holiday (YAY!) and it’s forecast to rain most days (BOO!). But still, I wanted to check in and share what’s been occupying my screengrabs this week, which I’ve saved to share with you, because a week without writing this post just feels WRONG!
I know I managed to find my The Row Estelle Bag* secondhand, but I’ll admit that I’m pretty gutted that this Etsy dupe* wasn’t available when I bought it, because I know what my bank balance would have preferred. Just a fraction of the original price, available in black, brown, ivory and tan - it looks just like the real thing. Big love to Nina for finding it and alerting us in the chat.
Another find via the chat - through Nicole this time, thanks! - these UNIQLO Gingham Easy Trousers*. They are a cotton-blend, so not exactly the same as the DONNI Taffeta Drawstring Cargo Pants*. But for a tenth of the price, they’ll work if you just fancy testing out gingham in your wardrobe. I’d personally wear them with a black boat neck top (this one’s on my wishlist*) and a barely-there sandal.
I spotted Emily in this COS Clean Cut Long-Sleeved T-Shirt* this week, and if I didn’t already have the jumper version from ARKET*, I’d be all over it. It’s essentially MERIT blue* and feels very denim-adjacent, which is why I’m so into it.

Sometimes, Reformation can get a little too floral and feminine for me, but I’ve just done a scroll of their new-in and JESUS, it’s good. My top pick would be the Jessie Thong Sandal*, but the red base or the zebra print strap version? That is the question.

Libby put together a beautifully styled think piece on pink, but of course, it was this leopard-print bag that caught my eye*. The size feels like it could work as an evening bag too.

I’m always down for an elevated pyjama set (these trousers are my current fave*). Something that feels like LESET* but without the pricetag, seeing as I promptly change into my sleepwear at 6 pm each evening, Enter the Riposo Miller Set*. I am in LOVE.
For the 50% U.S-based contingent that read this newsletter, the Sephora Spring Savings event* starts today, so here’s my list of Sephora-purchased beauty buys that I use daily:
I mean anything and everything, Sofie Pavitt*. In particular, her Omega Rich Moisturiser*, which is so hydrating but never clogging, and the most inoffensive Gel Cleanser*, but her Screentime Non-Comedogenic Hydrating SPF50* might be the best new skincare item I’ve tried so far this year. My acne-prone skin adores the range.
The same can be said for Crown Affair*. The Texturising Air Dry Mousse* is my favourite I’ve ever tried, and I use the Dry Shampoo Powder* every two days to keep my roots looking and feeling fresh.
It’s a damn shame that this lipgloss* isn’t available in the U.K.
The m.ph Le Skin Weightless Serum Foundation* feels like skin. Don’t be put off by it having ‘foundation’ in the title; this gives serious tinted moisturiser vibes to me.
I never hear anyone talking about these eye patches*, but they are the only ones that I use that I feel actually do something.
Behind the paywall this week: My style reading (and viewing list) from the past seven days, all my favourites from Vinted (please buy them so I don’t!), the two buys I instantly returned and how my spring moodboard is shaping up.
