The Style Edit: Green Denim, Grey Jumpers & Trying On Every Pair of Jeans I Own
Plus, the lazy clothes hack that changes your loungewear game.
This week has felt a bit stale style-wise - do you feel it too? There’s an itch for spring in the air, but the reality is that it’s rained every single day so far this year in the U.K (FACT!!!). We’re craving freshness, but for now it’s contained to the screenshots in my phone’s camera roll, which I’m unloading in 3,2,1…
Speaking of freshness, it doesn’t get fresher than these. Eat your greens/wear your greens; currently 20% off in the & Other Stories weekend sale*. These flats* caused quite the commotion in the group chat this week too, and to be honest with you, any garment in this colour gets a BIG thumbs up from me.
Is it a jacket? Is it a scarf? I have no idea - I think it’s both. I was looking for something like this before Christmas and couldn’t find it, but the Massimo Dutti Wool-Blend Cape* is exactly what I had in mind. A good option to throw over lighter jackets when the weather (hopefully!) perks up.
Kelly put the Loeffler Randall Travel Tote* onto my radar, and it refuses to be removed. I’ve been in quite a tote-y mood recently and find myself drawn to more practical bag options like this. Although I think the smaller-sized Everyday Tote in Black* might be a better option for me, has anyone tried it? I love that it zips and has plenty of pockets inside, and most importantly, the straps look thin enough to stay firmly put on my sloping shoulders.

Although I’ve never owned a set like this myself, and I can’t help but think that there’s a ton of versatility built into a matching knitted vest and cardi. Wearing them together just looks sleek, but breaking them up gives a load of options too. Plus I’m into the deep marl grey shade of this WNU Twin Set* (though the vest* and the cardigan* can be purchased separately too). My code ANNA10 still works - I just tested it for you!
I’ll admit that I completely forgot it was Valentine’s Day tomorrow - although I’m grateful to my past self for ordering in a fancy schmancy dinner delivery for tomorrow night!! So this is extremely last-minute, but I feel like the ‘going out top’ category is one we’re always thinking about, so here are three I recently found:
I hastily put together this IG Reel yesterday with a last-minute idea of what I’d wear for a date night:
If I worked in an environment where I wore heels regularly, you BET these shoes* would already be in my wardrobe. I just adore a leopard print/dalmation print mash-up. I need to stop looking at them because they are calling to me - more sizes available here*.
You lot sold this jumper out on NET-A-PORTER last week, but there are still most sizes available on Harrods* for us U.K folk (I wear a medium) and overseas, ordering direct from MOTHER* is your best bet. Plus, they have stock of the cream and faded black colourways, and duties and taxes are included.

Intel from the Heated Rivalry costume team!), an Elin Kling-approved style hack you could literally try today and a full audit of my denim department - fit advice, styles, sizing info - the lot….
