Welcome to a slightly remixed Style Edit. Today’s post is basically a week in my phone, through a mainly fashion-focused lens. Think pieces I’ve screengrabbed to share with you, along with outfits that have caught my eye, a voicenote from yours truly about how I feel my style is shifting right now (shoehorned in because I am the World’s Biggest Fan of Voicenotes™️), a video that’s basically a FaceTime haul and my thoughts on how to channel ‘Mother Mermaid’ when you live in the suburbs. Buck Mason Rosewood Lighthouse Linen Roll Neck* (I’d order this in a medium) - I spotted this lightweight 100% linen jersey top on Jennifer’s Substack and knew instantly I had to screengrab it to share. It’s bizarrely hard to find this genre of top. Long sleeve, but still light enough to throw on for a breezy day.
SKALL STUDIO Women’s Frilled Benedicte Top* (I’d order this in a DE40) - Would it be a Style Edit post if there wasn’t a ‘going-out top’ featured? I don’t think so! Simple and floaty. A good pick for summer with a pair of jeans and low-heeled slip-ons.
HUSH Cotton Stripe Pull-On Trousers* & Liddle Air Flow Barrel Tank Dress* - Two Hush picks because I feel like, as a brand, they really nail their summer drops. The trousers give DONNI vibes for a fraction of the price (I also LOVE the styling with the blue jumper and brown tank), and the dress is a great dupe for this Rohé dress* you’re seeing everywhere.
Navygrey The Linen Relaxed-Fit Tee* (I’d order this in a medium) - Throwing in this pick because I’m always on the hunt for a dupe for my St Agni Linen T-Shirt that I LIVED in last year that’s sadly long gone. This looks like for like.
Liffner Flat Leather Basket in Dark Brown* - A diddier version of my St Agni Tote*. If all your bags run on the larger side and you’re looking for something smaller that could double as an evening pick, then this is one to consider. It also comes in black*.
The Frankie Shop Tribeca Oversized Woven Coat* (I’d go one size down and order it in a small) - I know it’s a little unseasonal to recommend a coat in June, but it’s currently very gloomy and very rainy in the U.K. So a ‘throw it over over your shorts/dress’ overcoat doesn’t sound like the worst idea.
Finally, I had a post, ‘Wait, Do I Need A Pair of Trainers’ in the works, but hit a writer’s block (over trainers, yes I know *rolls eyes at self*), so I thought I’d just pop my favourite favourites that I found here (also check out this thread for some of your FAB recommendations)…
