The Style Edit: High-Street Dupes For Pieces I Love & Back-In-Stock Faves
This week is PACKED!
Today’s post is a biggie. It’s a mish-mash of last week’s one that never went live because, well, hospital, and all the screengrabs I’ve made this week whilst I’ve been scrolling in the pockets of time I’ve had between spinning plates (not literally, although it feels like it!!). There are a few things I’ve purchased, a massive underwear haul because my pants resembled dishrags and for paid subscribers, there’s a round-up of everything I’ve worn recently because it’s been a while since I checked in with an OOTD diary. Let’s crack on…
Originally spotted on Katherine Bouweiri, Head of Brand and Creative at DONNI, Valesque has launched on NET-A-PORTER* and Harvey Nichols*. Made from premium nylon with their signature slim handles, they’ve nailed the ‘everyday bag’.

Did you spot last week’s video where I tried on everything I bought in April? You lot seemed to like it, so I plan to make more of these…
…the below feel like a good option if you’re after a pair of muted khaki denim (apologies to the reader who suggested them - I couldn’t source your original comment to credit you, but thank you!).

BIG NEWS!! I finally found stock of the best darn shorts that I own! I’ve had the LESET Barb Shorts* for a few years now, and the slightly heavy fabric gives a gorgeous drape, and although they are short, I always feel comfortable in them. The curved hem that dips up a little at the side of the thigh gives them a flattering shape that I’ve previously found difficult to dupe. There’s limited stock of the cream here*, and I’ve found the black version here* and here*. They fit true to size. See them in action most recently in my Mallorca Outfit Diary.

The Etsy seller where I purchased my The Row Estelle Bag* dupe is mysteriously away for a short break, but I’ve found some other options for you here* and here* that appear to be selling the exact same bag. I basically just switch between the natural raffia one and the brown one these days.

Speaking of WNU, a With Nothing Underneath* x Lucy Williams collab!? Be still, my beating heart!! As a sucker for a pair of crisp white cotton poplin trousers (see below), of course I’m going to gravitate towards the Sifnos Trousers* (also available in cobalt blue* which I predict will sell out first!) and the version that’s cut into shorts - the Ceiriad Shorts*. I’ve just checked, and my ANNA10 code works on this collection too!
There’s been a new Flore Flore drop on NET-A-PORTER - I just personally like to buy from here because delivery is speedy and returns are easy. I love the look of:
The May Tank* is an easy vest that you could wear all summer long. Just a reminder that you’ll probably need to size up in their stuff as the compression in their signature fabric is TIGHT.
The Jill Baby Tee* with the little bitty v-neck is a fun alternative to a crew neck.
I’m desperate to try the Iman T-Shirt*, which is a Substack darling.
Ok, onto a few things I’ve bought because retail therapy had me in a chokehold this past week. ‘Tis a ‘DONNI Pop Cargo Pant*-summer’, which I am fully behind because to me, as a psoriasis-riddled gal, they are all I want to wear from May to September. I lived in mine last year. They are, however, pricey. So I’m always on the hunt for other options for you. In terms of the DONNI Pants, I actually think the WNU x Lucy Williams Sifnos Trousers* might be your best option. But if you’re after a pair that feel a little thicker, and have more of a LESET Kyoto Carpenter Pants* quality to them, enter the J.Crew Luna Pants*…
I bought them for ‘research purposes’ but SPOILER, they are staying with me. They are too good. I’ve tried the LESET Kyoto Carpenter Pants* before, but I’ve never really got on with them. They sat a little low on the hips for me and were a touch too thick. Whereas I feel like I can move in the J.Crew Luna Pants and I can hoik them up and tie them at waist-height if I want to. I’ve got the colourway Worn Teak, but they have plenty of others on their website (I’d buy the white pair if I didn’t already have the DONNI’s). I went for my usual size (a medium), in the classic length (I’m 5’7”), but if you’re between sizes, you could definitely size down - they are roomy. I ordered the Boyfriend Relaxed Jersey for research purposes, too, and surprise, surprise, it has also earned a permanent space in my wardrobe.

Grateful to Emma for posting this Jacquard Blazer* onto Notes last week because I purchased it on a bit of a whim, and it’s exactly what I was looking for. I’ve been on the hunt all year for a vintage-feeling little jacket that I could throw on with a T-shirt and jeans, and THIS IS IT. I love that there’s no sparkle or beading because it genuinely feels like something I could wear for daily errands/drop-offs/chill weekends with the family.
I realised recently that some of my underwear had been hanging around in my drawers since pre-child, which explained why they looked like they’d be better used for dusting rather than breast tissue management. Bra buying is tricky, so I’ll be back with a full report once I’ve done some investigation in this department (although I did restock my favourite non-wired lace bra*), but for pants, I just ADORE the Hanky Panky Low-Rise Thongs* for when I want to feel cute and the Underdays Everyday Thongs for workouts or tight clothing. The dipped v-front of the latter makes any other pair you try on feel wrong.
