The sizing info said to go for your normal size, so I ordered them all in a medium.

Look, you know I love the LESET Margo Tees*, but in the height of the summer, they can be a little heavy. On those days, I tend to reach for either the LESET Laura Margo Tee*, which has a lighter composition that reads more vintage, or an old St Agni oversized T-shirt that’s 100% linen and feels like you’re wearing nothing. I’ve never really been able to dupe it until I spotted the Navygrey linen range* this week and was like ‘YES, THAT’S IT!!!’. Same composition, easy basics that you can wear sweat-free, all summer long. I went a little wild and ordered practically one of each of the styles:

  • The Long Sleeve in Navy* because I’d been looking for a navy tee (see last week’s post!)

  • The V-Neck Long Sleeve in Black*, never owned one and think it would look sexy as hell with a pair of white jeans or linen trousers.

  • The Boatneck in White* because I simply adore a boatneck and can’t get enough of them.

  • The Classic Fit Tee in Black*, which looks the most similar to my much-worn St Agni one.

I’ll report back once they’ve arrived!

Stina asked in the comments of last week’s ‘Style Edit’ for blazer recs, so I’ve been on the hunt, and I feel like ME+EM is a good place to start*. I’d say that relaxed office vibes are kind of their bread and butter, and they truly understand the power of an oversized, yet well-fitted blazer. Here are some options for you, Stina!

Icon Oversized Blazer in Creaseless-Linen* - they had me at ‘creaseless linen’. If you want to make a blazer your spring staple, brown is a softer, more seasonal option than black.
Icon Oversized Blazer in Fluid Linen Blend* - I was up in London this week and saw a girl wearing a blazer just like this with vintage jeans, and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it.
Sharp Shoulder Blazer in Italian Check* - there’s something about a blazer being a check or slightly marled that, in my eyes, makes it easier to wear than a block colour. It feels more ‘jacket’ than ‘blazer’.
Speaking of jackets, literally as I’m writing this, my ZARA one* is back in stock in most sizes! There’s been some helpful discourse in the chat around sizing, and it looks like it’s one for us long-torso ladies. For reference, I’m wearing a medium here, and I’m 5′7″.
Two more fun green jackets I’ve spotted - I’m on a real jacket kick today! A faux suede number* in pistachio and I’m loving the shape of this 100% suede buttoned jacket*. With your favourite jeans and a white T-shirt? HEAVEN.
A bit of colour!!? Kind of.

Three fun new-in things I spotted on NET-A-PORTER (find all my top sale picks here*):

  • MATTEAU Checked Cotton Shirt* - This feels like the spring/summer version of the checkered shirt. Especially if, like me, you like to stick to your neutrals.

  • Valesque Parcel Leather-Trim Canvas Tote* - I know you’re seeing these totes everywhere, but this is my favourite one that I’ve spotted so far. Love the colour. Adore the size.

  • Comme Si Silk Straight-Leg Pants* - Did I link these last week? I think I might just need to bite the bullet. You know I have a strong attachment to this shade of olive green.

I’m not really a summer blouse kinda gal, but I do appreciate a sweet camisole that you could throw on with vintage jeans and flip-flops. I’ve found three:

This LESET Yoko Drawstring Tank* reminds me of one I have from Faithfull, which I bought a few years ago. So simple with a tie waist and a square-cut neckline.
Coucou are definitely a brand to put on your radar. A flirty undercurrent runs through the range, but it feels wearable too. I’m into this Fleur Top*.
Never discount the pyjama section! Put this top* on with some black The Row Gala-esque trousers and you’d never know.
ACCESSORIES INTERLUDE!

And finally, three things that would make your simple outfit formulas feel more FUN:

  • I kind of love the whole paracord strap thing, and these sandals* incorporate it in a very chic way whilst still adding sole cushioning (v.important!!).

  • A daintier, yet still striking version of the Tiffany Elsa Peretti Buckle Belt? I see it! SIGN ME UP*.

  • These strap sandals* are giving me Emme Parsons vibes, but for a fraction of the price. I always try to find sandals where the straps don’t cut horizontally across the feet as it feels more elongating.

For paid subscribers this week: A life update! Plus, a look at the outfits I’ve screengrabbed recently that you’ll want to screengrab too, and the looks you styled for me that made colourful loafers ‘click’. Very helpful ideas if you too have a pop of colour that you’re struggling to style…
