The Style Edit: The Perfect Tote Bag, a CBK-Coded Top & My Top Etsy Finds

Sometimes I write these and I'm really chuffed with the end result! THIS IS ONE OF THOSE!

It’s a freshly squeezed one today that I’ve been tinkering away on all morning as the rain softly patters against the window and I dream about making this SCOOPABLE COOKIE at the weekend. Let’s crack on, shall we?

I’ve yet to find fault with this thing.

So I bought the Loeffler Randall Mira Everyday Tote* (I didn’t get whacked with duties, but delivery to the U.K was $60 - ouch), after every single thing I heard about it was positive. Like, literally. I haven’t heard a bad word about this, or its slightly larger, more travel-friendly counterpart, the Dina Tote*. And I get it. It’s horrendously practical. The straps are thin so don’t slip off your shoulder, it zips, there’s a pouch for your laptop, your drinks bottle, a zipped pocket for keys, you can even unzip the back so it turns into a sleeve that slips over a suitcase handle, the interior is light so you can easily find what you need. It’s pretty faultless. For weekends, travel, babies and kids, it’s ideal.

Sizing info, I went one size up and got the UK14, but I reckon I could have done a 12 here as the fit is intentionally oversized.

WNU knew what they were doing when they called this the Bessette Top*. This waffle cotton style is such a good between-piece for when a T-shirt feels too flimsy, but a knit too toasty. Remember my code, ANNA10, for 10% off.

Oh hello CBK-coded styling!!

In a similar vein, but slightly chunkier, is the Alex Mill Eastport Rollneck* they’ve just released. 100% cotton and in six colourways, the neckline of this is Chef’s Kiss and a good alt for a rollneck, which can sometimes feel too claustrophobic.

A brief Etsy interlude. I saw my ‘recently viewed’ tab and thought it would be rude not to share: Vintage Pony Hair Tote* / Vintage Suede Jacket* / Tassel Evening Bag*
There’s more! Vintage Crewneck Sweatshirt* / Vintage-Inspired Pouch* / Black Gem Tassel Necklace*
The minute I saw this jumper I knew I had to ID it.

Everyone is eyeing up the Madewell x Benjamin Talley Smith denim collab* (Jane did a must-read piece on it - he’s made jeans for the greats), but personally, it’s this Belleview Oversized Sweatshirt* that caught my eye. If you’re after something that sits closer to the body, try the Armory Classic Sweatshirt*, which also comes in a washed navy.

If you’re feeling like a splurge in a big way, NAP just got in The Row Estelle Bag in black* and beige.

I spotted this pic from Chan Luu’s FW26 presentation, thanks to a note from Kelly (the person in the pic is Neada), and these olive trousers are now firmly burned onto my retinas. SEE?

I don’t think going-out outfits get any better than this?

I couldn’t find them on the Chan Luu site*, but they remind me of the DONNI Taffeta Cargo Trousers*, which are surprisingly still in stock (U.K folk, you can order here so you don’t get slapped with duties and taxes*). They also have their gingham styles on pre-order for delivery this month* - I’m personally still very much into my pistachio and bell pepper pairs. I have a code, ANNA10, that gets you 10% off.

And finally, two quick hits. Say hello to the perfect WFH trousers*. Very into the subtle piping detail.
…and this is the kind of top that sells out*, and come summer, I regret not buying it when it was in stock in every single size. With jeans, a funky shoe and a canvas tote. DONE.

Behind the paywall this week: A very extensive Substack reading list, the recipe for those NAC cookies (finally!), spring colour combos for the colour averse, polo shirt styling recommendations (from you - THANK YOU!), how I plan to play with a silk scarf in my wardrobe and the one I bought…
