ALIGNE Broderie Organic Cotton Shirt* & Ozzy Linen Mini Dress* (I’d order both in a M/U.K 12) - ALIGNE’s summer collection has arrived, and these are the two standout pieces for me. You would have seen this shirt EVERYWHERE already, and for good reason. I’d style it with a cute black lace bra underneath. I love a thin spaghetti strap on a mini dress, so of course, this one was going to be a winner for me too. I’d add contrast with a brown leather pair of loafers.
ARKET Embroidery-Deatil Shirt* & Trousers* (I’d size down in both of these and order a S) - I’m shooting some bits for ARKET this week, so I’m testing a lot of their summer collection right now, and this is the standout set for me. I don’t love classically feminine pieces, so the embroidery detail on this boxy set is a girlie nod that really works for me. Just make sure to size down.
POSSE Rio Button-Down Linen Shift Jacket* (I’d order a medium, more sizes and available in black here*) - Brittany recently shared this on her IG stories, although she had the black, and it looked so darn chic that I instantly added it to my ‘to share with you’ list. It looks like it’s from Toteme and should be double the price. With this and the Alex Mill version* from last week, I feel like a LLJ - little linen jacket - needs to be added to my wishlist pronto.
Reformation Reed Slingback Heel* - These are the shoes I’ve been searching for! I rarely wear heels these days, but I don’t own a closed-toe pair. And I love the idea of a closed-toe, square-toe pair! And in a ponyhide leopard print? Divine. I could live out my ’90s fantasy-self in these with a white baby tee and a pair of vintage Levi’s.
ME+EM Olive Draped Halterneck Silk Dress* (I’d order a U.K 12) - I’m always sprinkling in wedding guest ideas as I see them, so consider this a new entry. The colour! How bloody good! And 100% silk too. I like the colour and the fit because it feels like a good option for year-round celebratory wear. Find more green dress ideas in this chat thread:
Madewell Carmen Straw Bag* - Is it just me, or does this feel a little Loewe-esque? The size looks like a good choice for the weekend, and I love that you can also carry it under your arm to get it out of the way. Madewell has a great bag offering right now for summer, and if you’re after a dupe of my Alienina Rope Bag, check this one out*.
COS Wide-Leg Linen Drawstring Trousers in Dark Brown* - One thing about COS, you know these are going to come up extremely oversized, so I’d hedge your bets and order one size down in these trousers. But I’m loving the sheer amount of chocolate brown 100% linen pieces available on the high street right now. Giving the people what they want!
With Nothing Underneath The Weekend Shirt in Green* - This shirt has been following me around the internet for 12 months, I swear, and I’m sure I linked it last spring too. It’s back in stock, and the colour just does something to me. I love how it’s styled here with a mid-wash pair of jeans.
Sculpted By Aimee SPF 50 Sun Mist*, Loewe Textura Mimosa Scented Candle* & MERIT The Uniform Tinted SPF* - Throwing in a bit of beauty here because I feel like you lot love when I sprinkle it in (want more? Then have a read of this!). I picked up the sun mist as a topper-upper sort of product that I could throw on my bag or take on holiday with me, and it’s completely undetectable (and doesn’t make my eyes sting). I can’t lie, I spotted this candle on Laurel’s Substack and want it purely for the ceramic holder itself because it would look AMAZING in our kitchen. Then MERIT’s latest launch is unsurprisingly lush. A tinted gel-like SPF that gives a hint of coverage, a lot of glow (without looking or feeling greasy) and a whole lot of SPF protection. For everyday wear, it’s perfect.
