MONDAY

Making the most of the mild weather in my AGOLDE cord shirt*, Soeur knitted vest*, new AGOLDE jeans*, Flattered flats* and the usual belt*.

Sometimes I populate this post throughout the week and check-in and write it daily, bit this week has been a whirlwind so it’s freshly squeezed and last Monday feels like an absolute LIFETIME ago!! I’m guessing from this outfit that it was pretty mild!!? But really I remember wanting to road-test two new new items in my wardrobe - the shirt* and the jeans* (FYI I usually wear a 28 in AGOLDE but wear a 27 in this style). The jeans I’d found through a NET-A-PORTER job that I’d shot. I am loaned the clothing, but 9 times out of 10 end up buying something and this time round it was these. They are slightly baggy and a little lower on the waist than what I usually wear, but they are kinda fitted around the rear, which is a fit that I’ve been searching for. How good are these going to be next summer just with a vest top and flip flops!? Then after my call with Allison I realised that if there was a gap to be identified in my wardrobe then it would be ‘layering tops’. Think thick shirts that could double up as jackets, cardigans etc - just those additional layers that act as the filling in the outfit sandwich. You’ll see as we go through the week that this shirt has mileage in it…
