I love it when you veer off clothes. Great tips & lots of links saved to investigate.

FLAWLESS FINISHING TOUCH GANG! That dumb little tool is truly the best thing I've added to my routine, maybe ever. Removes the 'stache so thoroughly, painlessly, and quickly. When I worked at Real Simple magazine, our beauty director gave everyone one of these for Christmas one year and I've used it daily ever since.

Their leg tools have changed my life as a disabled lady. I have an extra of each because I’m terrified of not having backups!

Hi Anna, the premise of this tool would quite literally change my life, but I'm so confused: how does it not make the hair not grow spiky and coarse? I'm off to read the 2K positive comments it has on Amazon but I thought I'd ask here too! Xx

I know it seems like that would happen but it totally does not! (To me, anyway!) And honestly, I just do a quick little swipe every morning so I get rid of new hairs right away.

Maybe think about electrolysis. Commit to having it for a while and then you're done. So worth it.

I’m sure it’s a great option for many people but for me this tiny cheap tool that takes five seconds to use per day feels extremely low maintenance! I can’t imagine forking over the money and time for electrolysis when this thing exists. It really is amazing.

Good luck! Also you don't necessarily have to order this on Amazon. I've seen the for sale in my local pharmacy!

Even better - I try to avoid ordering off the big A. Thanks again!

This comment is one that I would ordinarily keep to myself. And I only include it here because of your explicit request for comments. As a septuagenarian who has never worn makeup (nor ever had much of a "beauty routine", apart from perhaps the occasional spa facial, monthly pedicure, and more recently, regular professional manicures), I am stunned at the effort and volume of product that you expend to beautify yourself. Admittedly, I haven't seen the "before" pictures, but I suspect that you are already beautiful without these ridiculous manoeuvres. I'm not sure I like this kind of messaging for young women. Speaking as an old one, I find all young women inherently beautiful. You're a fine writer, and it was certainly a fun read.

Remembering Bobbi Browns Makeup Manual was SO NOSTALGIC for me 🥹🥹🥹 I never realized until just this moment how early I started loving makeup!

We have similar hair texture and hair philosophies so I’ve been following your hair product advice for years, and I’m never disappointed! I regret to inform everyone that the Roz hair milk really is as good as it says on the tin. Way more expensive than anything I’ve ever tried but so worth it! I’m afraid I’m ruined for life for anything else to use on my fine textured waves now 🤣

Love this, Anna! Also love that for some products you use essentially non-branded items. Refreshing! I’d love to know your thoughts on Lisa Eldridge skin tint and the new Milk one? I love both. Xx

I know influencers are raving about the Milk skin tint, but I have dry, but well-taken care-of-skin (American here who lives in the humid South, FYI), and I can’t get it to work on me at all. It just doesn’t set down all that nicely and just kind of lays on top of my skin, looking patchy. It gets worse throughout the day. I finally went back to my favorite Saie tint. I am planning to try again in the summer when humidity really hits here, but I don’t have high hopes. If you try, I recommend getting a sample first.

I know you published this weeks ago, but my life is actually changed by the braiding tip. I usually braid my hair and get one great hair day, and then a mediocre one the next. I'm braiding again for the second day hair and it looks so much better!!!! Bought the Roz serum to investigate, because you obviously know what you're doing. Thank you!
