MONDAY

Sunglasses* / earrings* / cardigan* (ad - gifted) / jeans* (ad - gifted) / bag* / flip-flops*

Every week, I seem to fixate on a particular piece from my wardrobe; I guess it limits decision fatigue somehow. Last week, I imprinted on the grey knitwear section of my wardrobe, and this week, I gravitated towards my Sézane Wide-Leg Jeans* (I wear a U.K 12 for a slightly oversized look in these). There’s an ease to them, and for me, they are the perfect ‘luteal phase’ pair of denim—not too high or tight on the waist. They are pretty wide, so I like them either with a pointy boot in the winter, or a bit of toe showing, which makes them perfect for this time of year. Wide-leg jeans + flip-flops have been my unofficial uniform of this uncharacteristically hot spring week.

Yes, I’m late to the dense bean salad trend. I used this recipe and had it with some M&S rotisserie chicken (IYKYK) and homemade pickled onions.

TUESDAY

Earrings* / T-shirt* / jumper (similar*) / jeans* / bag (similar*) / flip-flops*

Tuesday’s outfit sparked the idea for a whole damn post. I LOVE when that happens. What’s easier than a starting point of a white T-shirt and a white pair of jeans? It’s just so darn versatile. It’s been HOT this week, so this is all I wore from 8 am to 8 pm - no layers needed. WILD. A good reminder to crack out my green jumper more often because without it, this outfit just wouldn’t hit the same way. Probably my favourite look of the week.

Lately, I’ve been starting my days with the same trusty duo - a white boxy T-shirt and a white, wide-leg, relaxed-fit pair of jeans. Whatever the weather and whatever my plans, it’s a base that I can tweak as required. It never fails. To me, it’s the unofficial outfit springboard of the season. So today I thought I’d talk you through my favourite ways t…

Behind the paywall this week:

  • Three more ways I styled the Sézane Wide-Leg Jeans.

  • The bag I use to dial up a chilled-out jeans and tee formula.

  • …and the outfit I wore for a girls-only Sunday roast and EPIC Space NK shopping trip.
