Love this! It's always great to read these articles, I too was a 2017 and got my wedding dress from Ghost London for £300!

I wore a Ghost dress in 2015. Loved it. It was perfect!

Ohh, I wish this post existed 1.5 years ago when I was looking for my dress. I got one from Ted Baker and if I was getting married again I would pick the same dress. The classic bridal vibe is not something I would go for anyways and why splurge on something you wear only once?

This is great! I’d love to see an accessories/jewellery high street edit too (both for brides and attending weddings!)

I ended up getting that Whistles dress for my wedding too! I was feeling such decision fatigue during the planning process that I was like "I'll just wear what Anna wore." It worked out great!

Oh, they're lovely. Not that I'm getting married anytime soon, but I would definitely go high street looking at these opinions!

Looove that dress. Completely agree that you don't need to spend thousands to find a wedding dress you love. I'm getting married this summer and bought a dress online for £500. I can't wait to wear it!

I'd also throw Lora Gene in the mix. It might not be high street exactly, but the price point is similar and it's well made!

Can you share a link please? Google's not throwing that one up 😊

It would help if I'd spelled it correctly... Lora Gene. https://www.loragene.com/

My wedding dress (2021) was a high street option as well - under 100 £ on sale from YAS if I remember correctly. It’s about the people and the party and not about how much the dress cost.

I got married in 2023 at Marylebone Town Hall and my dress was from the House of CB concession in selfridges. Just very simple, thin straps, full-ish mid length skirt. I thought I didn’t know the brand but then I realised it was a shop I always walked straight past at Westfield. The window says “highly flammable party dress” but there’s some good stuff hidden inside!
